Journal ArticleDOI
Resonance fluorescence from a coherently driven semiconductor quantum dot in a cavity.
Andreas Muller,Edward B. Flagg,Pablo Bianucci,Xiaoyong Wang,Dennis G. Deppe,Wenquan Ma,J. Zhang,Gregory J. Salamo,Min Xiao,Chih-Kang Shih +9 more
TL;DR: It is shown that resonance fluorescence, i.e., the resonant emission of a coherently driven two-level system, can be realized with a semiconductor quantum dot and second-order correlation measurements further confirm nonclassical light emission.
Journal ArticleDOI
Decoherence processes during optical manipulation of excitonic qubits in semiconductor quantum dots
Qu-Quan Wang,Qu-Quan Wang,Qu-Quan Wang,Andreas Muller,Pablo Bianucci,Enrico Rossi,Qi-Kun Xue,Toshihide Takagahara,Carlo Piermarocchi,Allan H. MacDonald,Chih-Kang Shih +10 more
TL;DR: Using photoluminescence spectroscopy, the authors investigated the nature of Rabi oscillation damping during optical manipulation of excitonic qubits in self-assembled quantum dots.
Journal ArticleDOI
Linking plasma formation in grapes to microwave resonances of aqueous dimers.
TL;DR: This work uses a combination of thermal-imaging techniques and computer simulations to show that grape-sized fruit and hydrogel beads form resonant cavities that concentrate electromagnetic fields to extreme subwavelength regions at microwave frequencies, enabling the formation of plasma.
Journal ArticleDOI
Single rolled-up InGaAs/GaAs quantum dot microtubes integrated with silicon-on-insulator waveguides
Zhaobing Tian,Venkat Veerasubramanian,Pablo Bianucci,Shouvik Mukherjee,Zetian Mi,Andrew G. Kirk,David V. Plant +6 more
TL;DR: The integration of InGaAs/GaAs microtubes with silicon-on-insulator waveguides provides a simple, low loss, high extinction passive filter solution in the C+L band communication regime.
Journal ArticleDOI
Coherent control of a V-type three-level system in a single quantum dot.
Qu-Quan Wang,Qu-Quan Wang,Andreas Muller,M. T. Cheng,H. J. Zhou,Pablo Bianucci,Chih-Kang Shih +6 more
TL;DR: Using low-temperature polarized photoluminescence spectroscopy, the exciton dynamics arising under strong laser excitation is investigated and the density matrix equations are explicitly solved.
