Present study reports the device characteristics of epitaxially grown La0.6Pr0.2Sr0.2MnO3/SrNb0.002Ti0.998O3 manganite before and after swift heavy ion irradiation at various ion fluences. The modification in the structural, morphological and electrical transport properties of La0.6Pr0.2Sr0.2MnO3/SrNb0.002Ti0.998O3 have been explained based on defect formation and interface annealing effect. Various charge transport models are used to fit the I–V characteristics and the present study suggests that thermionic emission mechanism governs the transport in the pristine and irradiated devices. Irradiation induced variation in structural strain, crystallinity and surface roughness are responsible for the change in transport behavior in the devices.

Our results show that the transport properties of these materials strongly change at Ga$^+$ fluences much below those used for patterning and ion beam induced deposition (IBID), limiting seriously the use of FIB when the intrinsic properties of the materials of interest are of importance. We present a method that can be used to protect the sample as well as to produce selectively irradiation-induced changes.

Herbal medicine now has been gained global acceptance due to their therapeutic values. Many researchers investigated herbal formulations recently to explore their medicinal value as well as quality compliances. Considering these facts present study involves formulation and evaluation of topical formulation of Cissus quadrangularis. Dispersion method was used for the preparation of formulation with varying ratio of ingredients. The various instrumental techniques were used for drug analysis like; Ultraviolet Spectroscopy, Fourier-transform Infrared Spectroscopy and HPTLC etc. The formulation was also evaluated for various quality parameters like; pH, viscosity, spreadability, in vitro drug release, etc. The formulations C2 was found to possess satisfactory results in terms of quality parameters like; viscosity, spreadability and in vitro drug release. FT-IR studies suggested no chemical interactions between the drugs and ingredient.

Formulation and evaluation of anti-inflammatory herbal topical formulation of cissus quadrangularis l.

Acne is the common disorder in today’s time; hormonal changes are the reason for the acne. Face and neck are the major affected area. Preventive approaches involve removal of oil from the face. Proper cleaning and washing require for this purpose. Various researches have been proved utility of herbal based formulations for cleaning purpose which also removes excess oil; considering this fact present work was intended to prepare a face wash gel with antioxidant and antibacterial properties. Prepared gel was evaluated for various quality control parameters like; spreadability, pH, consistency and grittiness, etc. The results of quality control parameters were found to be satisfactory.

Abstract: String Theory, Quantum Geometry, Loop Quantum Gravity and Black Hole physic all predict the existence of a observable minimal length at Planck scale. For example, in case of string theory it is conjectured that a particle described as a string does not interact at distances smaller than its size. As a consequence, the HUP has to be generalized to take into account this aspect. The models which are designed to implement the minimal length scale and/or the maximum momentum in different physical systems entered into the literature as the Generalized Uncertainty Principle (GUP). Here, quadratic GUP model has been used to estimate the quantum-gravitational correction of ground state energy of hydrogen atom (H-atom).
