Journal ArticleDOI
The role of sawdust in the removal of unwanted materials from water.
TL;DR: Sawdust, a relatively abundant and inexpensive material is currently being investigated as an adsorbent to remove contaminants from water as discussed by the authors, and chemical substances including dyes, oil, toxic salts and heavy metals can be removed very effectively with the organic material.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bandgap engineering in TiO2/rGO 1D photonic metasurfaces as broadband solar absorber
TL;DR: In this article , the 1D photonic metasurfaces of TiO2 with reduced graphene oxide (rGO) were designed to obtain broader absorption bandwidth in NIR.
Journal ArticleDOI
Direct utilization of gaseous fuels in metal supported solid oxide fuel cells
Maria Welander,Boxun Hu,Seraphim Belko,Kevin X. Lee,Pawan Kumar Dubey,I.A. Robinson,Prabhakar Singh,Michael C. Tucker +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , a symmetric-architecture metal supported solid oxide fuel cells (MS-SOFCs) with thin ceramic electrolyte and scaffold backbone layers, and low cost ferritic stainless steel supports on both sides are investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
MicroRNA-7 regulates insulin signaling pathway by targeting IRS1, IRS2, and RAF1 genes in gestational diabetes mellitus.
TL;DR: An elevated level of miRNA7 may be associated with the progression of GDM by altering the multiple pathways like insulin, GnRH, and inflammatory signaling pathways via targeting IRS1, IRS2, and RAF1, implicating a new therapeutic target for GDM.
