Journal ArticleDOI

PCDD/F, PCB and PAH content of brazilian compost

TL;DR: The study shows that most PCDD/F concentrations are above the levels acceptable in Baden-Württemberg (FRG), being 17 ng I-TE/kg, especially for compost from metropolitan areas, and PCB concentrations are similar to those found for Germany.
Journal ArticleDOI

A study on purified apo-erythrocuprein.

TL;DR: It was concluded that Cu2+ is able to produce both a profound increase of ultraviolet absorption and a change of the absorption profile, while Zn2+ was less active and was able to cause a shift of the visible absorption maximum by 50 nm.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Cryptand [222] for Exchanging Cations of Micas

TL;DR: In this article, the results indicate greater than 90% exchange of the analyzed cations K +, Rb +, and Sr + + in phlogopite and biotite after two days.
Journal ArticleDOI

Untersuchungen zur Struktur der Ferredoxine

TL;DR: In this article, the preparation of apoferredoxin from spinach ferredoxin and Clostridium pasteurianum with α,α′-dipyridyl without the addition of reducing agents is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation of xanthine oxidase. Magnetic circular dichroism studies.

TL;DR: The tryptophan chromophore gives a strong positive magnetic circular dichroism band at 292 nm and from the intensity of this band in xanthine oxidase, the presence of a total of 23–24 residues per molecule has been calculated.
