Effects of Hydro-alcoholic Extract of Anethum Graveolens Seed on Pentylenetetrazol-induced Seizure in Adult Male Mice.
TL;DR: The results indicated that hydro-alcoholic extract of AGS delayed the initiation time of myoclonic and tonic-clonic seizures in comparison with saline group and might be considered as an adjuvant therapy with other traditional antiepileptic medications.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, in-vitro antiprotozoal activity and molecular docking study of isothiocyanate derivatives.
Kosar Babanezhad Harikandei,Peyman Salehi,Samad Nejad Ebrahimi,Morteza Bararjanian,Marcel Kaiser,Marcel Kaiser,Ahmed Al-Harrasi +6 more
TL;DR: Novel isothiocyanate derivatives were synthesized starting from noscapine, bile acids, amino acids, and some aromatic compounds and displayed promising antiparasitic activity against Leishmania donovani and antiplasmodial activity against Trypanosoma brucei rhodesiense.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bioactive compounds from Smilax excelsa L.
Pooneh Khaligh,Peyman Salehi,Mahdi Moridi Farimani,Safa Ali-Asgari,Mohammad Ali Esmaeili,Samad Nejad Ebrahimi +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the structures of five compounds were established by different spectroscopic techniques including 1D and 2D-NMR, HRMS and ECD spectroscopy, including solanesol (1), violasterol A (2), trans-resveratrol (3), 5-O-caffeoyl-β-d-fructofuranosyl-(2-1)-α-dglucopyranoside (5).
Journal ArticleDOI
Essential oil composition of Nepeta involucrata from Iran
TL;DR: The essential oil of Nepeta involucrata (Bunge) Bornm. (Lamiaceae) obtained by hydrodistillation from the aerial parts during the flowering stage was analyzed by GC and GC-MS.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microwave‐Assisted One‐Pot Three Component Synthesis of Some New 4(3H)‐Quinazolinone Derivatives.
TL;DR: In this article, a microwave-assisted synthesis of 4(3H)-quinazolinones by the condensation of isatoic anhydride, primary amines and orthoesters in the presence of catalytic amounts of p-toluenesulfonic acidin high yields is reported.
