Journal ArticleDOI
A chemical vapour deposition process for the production of carbon nanospheres
Journal ArticleDOI
Carbon nanotubes produced by fluidized bed catalytic CVD: first approach of the process
Massimiliano Corrias,Brigitte Caussat,André Ayral,Jérôme Durand,Yolande Kihn,Ph. Kalck,Philippe Serp +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, multi-walled carbon nanotubes have been produced with high yield on an iron supported catalyst by catalytic chemical vapor deposition in a fluidized bed reactor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Kinetic study of carbon nanotubes synthesis by fluidized bed chemical vapor deposition
Régis Philippe,Ph. Serp,Ph. Kalck,Yolande Kihn,Serge Bordere,Dominique Plee,Patrice Gaillard,Daniel Bernard,Brigitte Caussat +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the influence of operating parameters such as deposition duration, temperature, ethylene and hydrogen partial pressures and iron loading, on MWCNT productivity, process selectivity, characteristics of final powders and chemical composition of the outlet gases has been analyzed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Carbon-supported iridium catalysts in the catalytic wet air oxidation of carboxylic acids: kinetics and mechanistic interpretation
TL;DR: In this paper, carbon-supported iridium catalysts were used for catalytic wet air oxidation of butyric and iso-butyric acid aqueous solutions in a stirred reactor at 473 K and 0.69 MPa of oxygen partial pressure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Direct synthesis of acetals by rhodium catalysed hydroformylation of alkenes in the presence of orthoformate
TL;DR: In this article, the two precursors [Rh 2 (μ-penicillamine) 2 (CO) 4 ][OTf] 2 and [RH 2 (mi-cysteine) 2 [CO] 4 ] 2 in the presence of 4 equivalents of P(OPh) 3 in triethyl orthoformate as solvent and reactant, permit the low pressure hydroformylation of various alkenes into the corresponding acetals.
