Photocatalytic hydrogen generation through water splitting on nano-crystalline LaFeO3 perovskite
Saumitra N. Tijare,Meenal V. Joshi,Priyanka S. Padole,Priti A. Mangrulkar,Sadhana Rayalu,Nitin Labhsetwar +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the photocatalytic activity of LaFeO3 was investigated for hydrogen generation through sacrificial donor assisted water splitting reaction by varying conditions in feasible parametric changes using visible light source, ethanol as a sacrificial donors and Pt solution of H2PtCl6 as a co-catalyst.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adsorption of phenol and o-chlorophenol by mesoporous MCM-41.
TL;DR: It was found that adsorption of PhOH and o-CP depends upon the solution pH as well as co-existing ions present in the aqueous solution, and from the sorption studies it was observed that the uptake of o- CP was higher than PhOH.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adsorption of phenol and o-chlorophenol on surface altered fly ash based molecular sieves
TL;DR: In this article, the performance of adsorption of phenol and o-chlorophenol on commercial zeolite-Y, fly ash based zeolites (FAZ-Y) and surface modified fly ash-based zeolitic (SMZY) was studied.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photocatalytic water splitting on Au/TiO2 nanocomposites synthesized through various routes: Enhancement in photocatalytic activity due to SPR effect
Sadhana Rayalu,Sadhana Rayalu,Deepa Jose,Meenal V. Joshi,Meenal V. Joshi,Priti A. Mangrulkar,Priti A. Mangrulkar,Khadga M. Shrestha,Kenneth J. Klabunde +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an in situ, photodeposition (PD) and SMAD method was used to synthesize Au/TiO2 nanocomposites for hydrogen generation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Visible light induced photoreduction of methyl orange by N-doped mesoporous titania
Meenal M. Joshi,Nitin Labhsetwar,Priti A. Mangrulkar,Saumitra N. Tijare,Sanjay P. Kamble,Sadhana Rayalu +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, three different types of N-doped mesoporous titania were synthesized by varying composition of chitosan and titania precursor and the effect of various operating parameters like photocatalyst loading, initial concentration and intensity of light also has been studied.
