Journal ArticleDOI

Amberlite-IRA-402 (OH) ion exchange resin mediated synthesis of indolizines, pyrrolo [1,2-a] quinolines and isoquinolines: antibacterial and antifungal evaluation of the products.

TL;DR: Antibacterial and antifungal studies were carried out against thirteen bacterial and four fungal strains, which revealed that three derivatives (4a, 4b, 7a) out of fifteen are effective against all the thirteen strains and one derivative, 10, showed dual antibactericidal and antIFungal efficacy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficient synthesis of 3,3-diheteroaromatic oxindole analogues and their in vitro evaluation for spermicidal potential.

TL;DR: In vitro spermicidal potentials and the mode of sPermicidal action of the synthesized analogues were evaluated and the derivative, 3,3-bis (5-methoxy-1H-indol-3-yl) indolin-2-one (3d) exhibited most significant activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Three-in-one type fluorescent sensor based on a pyrene pyridoxal cascade for the selective detection of Zn(II), hydrogen phosphate and cysteine

TL;DR: A novel fluorescent receptor L was synthesized by Schiff base condensation of 1-pyrenemethylamine with the vitamin B6 cofactor pyridoxal and developed for the highly selective, specific and sensitive detection of three important bioactive analytes, i.e., Zn2+, H2PO4- and cysteine with a detection limit down to 2.3 × 10-6 M.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biotin conjugated organic molecules and proteins for cancer therapy: A review.

TL;DR: The cytotoxicity and selectivity of the drug in cancer cells has enhanced after biotin conjugation and Nanoparticles and polymer surface modified drugs and biotin mediated cancer theranostic strategy was highlighted in this review.
