Journal ArticleDOI

Tectorigenin attenuates diabetic nephropathy by improving vascular endothelium dysfunction through activating AdipoR1/2 pathway.

TL;DR: TEC treatment restored diabetes-induced glucose and lipid metabolic disorder; and improved the deterioration of renal function, particularly the renal endothelium function in db/db mice, suggesting that TEC have a potently effect for retarding type 2 diabetes-associated DN.
Journal ArticleDOI

Amelioration of hepatic steatosis by dietary essential amino acid-induced ubiquitination.

TL;DR: This paper showed that dietary essential amino acids ameliorate hepatic steatosis by inducing polyubiquitination of Plin2, a lipid droplet-stabilizing protein.
Journal ArticleDOI

ATPase Thorase Deficiency Causes α-Synucleinopathy and Parkinson’s Disease-like Behavior

TL;DR: It is found that conditional knockout of Thorase resulted in motor behaviors indicative of neurodegeneration, and biochemical and cell cultures studies presented here suggest that Thorase interacts with α- syn and regulates the degradation of ubiquitinated α-syn.
