Co-pyrolysis of biomass and waste plastics as a thermochemical conversion technology for high-grade biofuel production: Recent progress and future directions elsewhere worldwide
Benjamin Bernard Uzoejinwa,Benjamin Bernard Uzoejinwa,Xiuhua He,Shuang Wang,Abd El-Fatah Abomohra,Abd El-Fatah Abomohra,Yamin Hu,Qian Wang +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a review of previous studies, recent advances, and future directions on co-pyrolysis of biomass and waste plastics for high-grade biofuel production particularly in China and elsewhere worldwide is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Deep oxidative desulfurization of dibenzothiophene with POM-based hybrid materials in ionic liquids
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of POM-based hybrid materials: phosphotungstic acid supported ceria (HPW-CeO2) have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Thermogravimetric-differential scanning (TG-DSC) analysis, Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), FT-Raman, FT-IR, UV-vis, and BET analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Simultaneous absorption of SO2 and NO from flue gas using ultrasound/Fe2+/heat coactivated persulfate system
TL;DR: The results indicate that US enhances NO removal due to enhancement of mass transfer and chemical reaction, and US/Fe2+/heat coactivated persulfate system achieves the highest NO removal efficiency.
Journal ArticleDOI
Simultaneous removal of NO and SO 2 using vacuum ultraviolet light (VUV)/heat/peroxymonosulfate (PMS).
TL;DR: SO2 achieves complete removal under all experimental conditions due to its very high solubility in water and good reactivity, and the highest simultaneous removal efficiency of SO2 and NO reaches 100% and 91.3%, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Removal of elemental mercury from flue gas using wheat straw chars modified by Mn-Ce mixed oxides with ultrasonic-assisted impregnation
TL;DR: In this paper, Mn-Ce mixed oxides modified wheat straw chars were prepared by an ultrasonic-assisted impregnation method, and were employed to remove elemental mercury (Hg0) from flue gas.
