Dielectric properties of amorphous Zr–Al–O and Zr-Si-O thin films
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the composition dependence of the dielectric properties of Zr1-xAlxO2-x/2 and Zr 1-xSixO2.
Journal ArticleDOI
La6BaYCu8O20: A New Oxygen Deficient Perovskite
Robert J. Cava,H. W. Zandbergen,R. B. van Dover,J. J. Krajewski,Theo Siegrist,W. F. Peck,R.S. Roth,R. J. Felder +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a new three-dimensional oxygen deficient perovskite La6BaYCu8O20 is proposed, which is related to the well-known 3D material La4BaCu5O13 and the new compound form the first two members of a new homologous series La4+2nBaLnnCu5+3nO13+7n through the addition of "123" type structural units.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Tunable VO2/Au hyperbolic metamaterial
TL;DR: In this article, thin films of VO 2 and lamellar VO 2 /Au metamaterials were fabricated and studied, and the optical properties of these materials were shown to be consistent with the transition between hyperbolic and metallic phases occurring at elevated temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI
A reduced neodymium titanate with a new intergrowth structure type
TL;DR: In this article, single crystals of a new reduced neodymium titanate, Nd[sub 3]Ti[sub 4]O[sub 12], have been obtained by slow cooling of a reduced Nd-Ti-O-O ceramic precursor in a molten borate flux under high vacuum.
