TL;DR: The axial-vector mass in a dipole parametrization of the axialvector form factor is determined to be M/sub A/ = 1.05/sub -0.16//sup + 0.12/GeV, consistent with the values previously reported from low energy experiments as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: We have studied the quasielastic reaction ..nu../sub ..mu../n..--> mu../sup -/p in an exposure of the Fermilab deuterium-filled 15-foot bubble chamber to a high-energy wide-band neutrino beam. From an analysis of the Q/sup 2/ distribution based on the standard V-A theory, the axial-vector mass in a dipole parametrization of the axial-vector form factor is determined to be M/sub A/ = 1.05/sub -0.16//sup +0.12/ GeV, consistent with the values previously reported from low-energy experiments.

TL;DR: In this article, the multiplicity moments of the hadronic system were measured in an exposure of the Fermilab deuterium-filled 15-foot bubble chamber to a wide-band neutrino beam.
Abstract: Charged-hadron multiplicity distributions in $\ensuremath{ u}n$ and $\ensuremath{ u}p$ interactions are measured in an exposure of the Fermilab deuterium-filled 15-foot bubble chamber to a wide-band neutrino beam. Multiplicity moments are studied as functions of the invariant mass of the hadronic system $W$ in the range $1lWl15$ GeV. The mean multiplicities for both $\ensuremath{ u}n$ and $\ensuremath{ u}p$ are found to increase logarithmically with ${W}^{2}$ with identical slopes but slightly different intercepts. A linear rise of the dispersion $D$ with the mean multiplicity $〈{n}_{\mathrm{ch}}〉$ is observed with an approximate slope of 0.35. This value is similar to that found in ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ and $\overline{p}p$ annihilation and is much less than the asymptotic prediction of QCD. A close similarity between ${D}_{\ensuremath{-}}$ vs $〈{n}_{\ensuremath{-}}〉$ in $\ensuremath{ u}n$ and $\ensuremath{ u}p$ interactions is seen. Negative correlations between the multiplicity distributions in the forward and backward hadronic center-of-mass hemispheres are found and discussed.

TL;DR: In this paper, three charmed-baryon candidates produced in the quasielastic reaction were found in an exposure of the Fermilab deuterium-filled 15ft bubble chamber to a wide-band neutrino beam.
Abstract: Three charmed-baryon candidates produced in the quasielastic reaction ..nu..n..--> mu../sup -/..lambda../sub c//sup +/..--> mu../sup -/..lambda pi../sup +/ were found in an exposure of the Fermilab deuterium-filled 15-ft bubble chamber to a wide-band neutrino beam. We also found that the cross section of the associated-production reaction ..nu..n..--> mu../sup -/..lambda..K/sup +/ is (5.5 +- 1.3 +- 1.1) x 10/sup -40/ cm/sup 2/ for E/sub ..nu../>10 GeV, and is approximately independent of energy. In addition we studied the cross sections of some quasi-two-body associated strange-particle production reactions other than ..mu../sup -/..lambda..K/sup +/.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors apply a new method to determine the probability of the uu diquark from nup interactions fragmenting as independent quarks, and show this probability to be about 50%.
Abstract: We apply a new method to determine the probability of the uu diquark from nup interactions fragmenting as independent quarks In particular, by assuming that all lambda's which do not come from Y/sup asterisk+/, by assuming that all lambda's which do not come from Y/sup asterisk+/, N/sup asterisk+/, or charmed baryons must come from independent fragmentation, we show this probability to be about 50% We also provide information from lambda's, and from this determine the probability of capturing a strange quark from the sea in the target region to be tau/sub s/ = 0051 +- 0013, about half the value found in the current region, gamma/sub s/ = 012 +- 002 Overall lambda production rates in nun and nup reactions are (70 +- 08)% and (70 +- 12)%, respectively When cuts of W>4 GeV and x/sub B/>02 are made on the data
