Journal ArticleDOI

Hepatocyte TAZ/WWTR1 Promotes Inflammation and Fibrosis in Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis

TL;DR: It is shown that the transcription regulator TAZ (WWTR1) is markedly higher in hepatocytes in human and murine NASH liver than in normal or steatotic liver, and represents a previously unrecognized factor that contributes to the critical process of steatosis-to-NASH progression.
Journal ArticleDOI

Histopathologic features of colitis due to immunotherapy With Anti-PD-1 antibodies

TL;DR: In patients who experienced recurrence of anti-PD-1 colitis, histologic features were similar to the initial insult but, in addition, features of chronicity developed that mimicked inflammatory bowel disease (basal lymphoplasmacytosis and crypt architectural irregularity, and Paneth cell metaplasia in 1 case).
Journal ArticleDOI

Differential Structure of Atrial and Ventricular KATP Atrial KATP Channels Require SUR1

TL;DR: Differential molecular make-up of the 2 channels underlies differential pharmacology, with important implications when considering sulfonylurea therapy or dissecting the role of cardiac KATP pharmacologically, as well as for understanding of the roles of diazoxide in preconditioning.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gastrointestinal biopsy findings of autoimmune enteropathy: a review of 25 cases

TL;DR: In summary, AIE most commonly presents as an active enteritis with villous blunting and expansion of the lamina propria by mixed inflammation, and biopsies from sites other than the small intestine may greatly facilitate its diagnosis.
