Journal ArticleDOI

Metal Halide Perovskite Polycrystalline Films Exhibiting Properties of Single Crystals

TL;DR: In this article, a post-treatment of polycrystalline perovskite films with light and atmospheric treatments was shown to increase the internal luminescence quantum efficiencies from 1% to 89%, with carrier lifetime of 32 μ s and diffusion length of 77 μ m.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Impact of Atmosphere on the Local Luminescence Properties of Metal Halide Perovskite Grains.

TL;DR: In situ microphotoluminescence measurements are used to elucidate the impact of light-soaking individual methylammonium lead iodide grains in high-quality polycrystalline films while immersing them with different atmospheric environments, revealing a unique insight into the nature of nonradiative decay and the impactof atmospheric passivation on the microscale properties of perovskite films.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Impact of Phase Retention on the Structural and Optoelectronic Properties of Metal Halide Perovskites.

TL;DR: X-ray diffraction and micro-photoluminescence measurements are used to show that there is a coexistence of both tetragonal and orthorhombic phases through the low-temperature phase transition, and that cycling through this transition can lead to structural changes and enhanced optoelectronic properties.
