Journal ArticleDOI
Epigenetic mechanisms shape the underlining expression regulatory mechanisms of the STAT3 in multiple sclerosis disease.
Arezoo Hosseini,Zohreh Babaloo,Tohid Gharibi,Navid Shomali,Faroogh Marofi,Vida Hashemi,Hormoz Ayromlou,Milad Asadi,Shima Rahmani,Saeed Noorolyai,Dariush Shanehbandi,Behzad Baradaran +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the level of STAT3 methylation decreased in relapsing-remitting MS patient compared to control groups, which the decreases were statistically significant. And there is a strong and significant negative correlation between the methylation status and mRNA level of the STAT3.
Journal ArticleDOI
Silencing tumor-intrinsic CD73 enhances the chemosensitivity of NSCLC and potentiates the anti-tumoral effects of cisplatin: An in vitro study.
Elham Baghbani,Saeed Noorolyai,Shima Rahmani,Dariush Shanehbandi,Mahdi Abdoli Shadbad,Leili Aghebati-Maleki,Ahad Mokhtarzadeh,Oronzo Brunetti,Rossella Fasano,Nicola Silvestris,Behzad Baradaran +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the significance of tumor-intrinsic CD73, as an inhibitory immune checkpoint, in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) development and proposed a novel therapeutic approach.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transfection of microRNA-143 mimic could inhibit migration of HN-5 cells through down-regulating of metastatic genes
Ali Hossein Mesgarzadeh,Mehdi Aali,Farrokh Farhadi,Saeed Noorolyai,Elham Baghbani,Fateme Mohammadnejad,Behzad Baradaran +6 more
TL;DR: MicroRNA-143 can be a new diagnostic biomarker and new therapeutic target for OSCC because it can inhibit HN-5 cells migration in vitro by down-regulating the expression of invasion-linked genes.
Journal ArticleDOI
The expression analyses of RMRP, DDX5, and RORC in RRMS patients treated with different drugs versus naïve patients and healthy controls.
Shima Rahmani,Saeed Noorolyai,Hormoz Ayromlou,Vahid Khaze Shahgoli,Dariush Shanehbandi,Elham Baghbani,Mahdi Abdoli Shadbad,Farinaz Jigari-Asl,Mahsa Khamiriyan,Reza Safaralizadeh,Behzad Baradaran +10 more
TL;DR: There was substantial up-regulation in the expression of RORC, DDX5, and RMRP in treatment-naïve RRMS patients compared to healthy controls and only the down-regulation of the R MRP expression level was significant in IFNβ-1α-treated patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
miR‐146a‐5p and miR-193a-5p Synergistically Inhibited the Proliferation of Human Colorectal Cancer Cells (HT-29 cell line) through ERK Signaling Pathway
Saeed Noorolyai,Elham Baghbani,Dariush Shanehbandi,Vahid Khaze Shahgoli,Amir Baghbanzadeh Kojabad,Behzad Mansoori,Khalil Hajiasgharzadeh,Ahad Mokhtarzadeh,Behzad Baradaran +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the impact of microRNAs (miRNAs) in colorectal cancer (CRC) and their mechanisms in the proliferation and migration of cancer cells were examined.
