Journal ArticleDOI
Universal quinone electrodes for long cycle life aqueous rechargeable batteries
Yanliang Liang,Yan Jing,Saman Gheytani,Kuan-Yi Lee,Ping Liu,Antonio Facchetti,Yan Yao,Yan Yao +7 more
TL;DR: Three systems that coupled with industrially established cathodes and electrolytes exhibit long cycle life, fast kinetics, high anode specific capacity, and several examples of state-of-the-art specific energy/energy density are demonstrated.
Journal ArticleDOI
An Aqueous Ca-Ion Battery.
Saman Gheytani,Yanliang Liang,Feilong Wu,Yan Jing,Hui Dong,Karun K. Rao,Xiaowei Chi,Fang Fang,Yan Yao,Yan Yao +9 more
TL;DR: A safe and low‐cost aqueous Ca‐ion battery based on a highly reversible polyimide anode and a high‐potential open framework copper hexacyanoferrate cathode is demonstrated, which shows a stable capacity and high efficiency at both high and low current rates.
Journal ArticleDOI
Li3VO4 anchored graphene nanosheets for long-life and high-rate lithium-ion batteries
Zelang Jian,Mingbo Zheng,Yanliang Liang,Xiaoxue Zhang,Saman Gheytani,Yucheng Lan,Yi Shi,Yan Yao,Yan Yao +8 more
TL;DR: Li3VO4 nanoparticles embedded in graphene nanosheets (Li3 VO4@GNS) were obtained using a sol-gel method and presents excellent high-rate performance and long-life performance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cross-conjugated oligomeric quinones for high performance organic batteries
TL;DR: In this paper, two cross-conjugated quinone oligomers (PBDTD and PBDTDS) and their nanocomposites with carbon nanotubes were used as low-cost organic electrode materials for Li-ion batteries.
Journal ArticleDOI
A high-energy quinone-based all-solid-state sodium metal battery
Xiaowei Chi,Xiaowei Chi,Fang Hao,Jibo Zhang,Xiangwei Wu,Ye Zhang,Saman Gheytani,Zhaoyin Wen,Yan Yao +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, an all-solid-state battery based on an oxide-based solid electrolyte, β-alumina solid electrolytes (BASE), was demonstrated.
