Rosalyn W. Sayaman,Rosalyn W. Sayaman,Mohamad Saad,Vesteinn Thorsson,Wouter Hendrickx,Jessica Roelands,Younes Mokrab,Farshad Farshidfar,Farshad Farshidfar,Tomas Kirchhoff,Randy F. Sweis,Oliver F. Bathe,Eduard Porta-Pardo,Michael J. Campbell,Cynthia Stretch,Donglei Hu,Scott R. Huntsman,Rebecca E. Graff,Najeeb Syed,Laszlo Radvanyi,Simon Shelley,Denise M. Wolf,Francesco M. Marincola,Michele Ceccarelli,Jérôme Galon,Elad Ziv,Davide Bedognetti +26 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that germline genetic variants significantly impact the composition and functional orientation of the tumor immune microenvironment.

On the cross-population portability of gene expression prediction models
Kevin L. Keys,Angel C.Y. Mak,Marquitta J. White,Walter L. Eckalbar,Andrew W. Dahl,Joel Mefford,Anna V. Mikhaylova,Maria G. Contreras,Maria G. Contreras,Jennifer R. Elhawary,Celeste Eng,Donglei Hu,Scott R. Huntsman,Sam S. Oh,Sandra Salazar,Michael A. LeNoir,Jimmie Ye,Timothy A. Thornton,Noah Zaitlen,Esteban G. Burchard,Christopher R. Gignoux +20 more
TL;DR: It is found that the default models trained in large datasets such as GTEx and DGN fare poorly in African Americans, with a notable reduction in prediction accuracy when compared to European Americans, and this suggests a need to carefully select reference populations for prediction.
Measured and Computed Coastal Ocean Bedload Transport
Alan William Niedoroda,Chen-Mean Ma,Peter A. Mangarella,Ralph H. Cross,Scott R. Huntsman,Donald D. Treadwell +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a comparison between the measured infilling of two test pits off the coastline of San Francisco and predictions using a coastal bedload transport model was made, based on the work of Madsen and Grant (1967).
