Journal ArticleDOI

Spatiotemporal transcriptome analysis reveals critical roles for mechano-sensing genes at the border zone in remodeling after myocardial infarction

TL;DR: In this article , the authors performed an integrative analysis of spatial transcriptomics and single-nucleus RNA sequencing (snRNA-seq) in a murine MI model and found that mechanical stress-response genes are expressed at the border zone and play a critical role in left ventricular remodeling after MI.
Journal ArticleDOI

Monitoring β-arrestin recruitment via β-lactamase enzyme fragment complementation: Purification of peptide E as a low-affinity ligand for mammalian bombesin receptors

TL;DR: A cell-based assay for monitoring ligand-dependent GPCR-β-arrestin interaction via β-lactamase enzyme fragment complementation is developed and it is concluded that this newly developed system will facilitate the discovery of G PCR ligands.
Journal ArticleDOI

Precision medicine for heart failure based on molecular mechanisms: The 2019 ISHR Research Achievement Award Lecture.

TL;DR: The approaches for investigating the molecular mechanisms of cardiac hypertrophy, development, and failure are introduced and future perspectives are discussed to discuss future perspectives.
