Journal ArticleDOI
The Disk Substructures at High Angular Resolution Project (DSHARP). IV. Characterizing Substructures and Interactions in Disks around Multiple Star Systems
Nicolás T. Kurtovic,Laura M. Pérez,Myriam Benisty,Myriam Benisty,Myriam Benisty,Zhaohuan Zhu,Shangjia Zhang,Jane Huang,Sean M. Andrews,Cornelis P. Dullemond,Andrea Isella,Xue-Ning Bai,John M. Carpenter,Viviana V. Guzmán,Luca Ricci,David J. Wilner +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the substructures induced in protoplanetary disks by the interaction between stars in multiple systems, and found two symmetric spiral arms in the disk around AS 205 N, with pitch angle of $14^\circ$, while the southern component AS 205 S, itself a spectroscopic binary, is surrounded by a compact inner disk and a bright ring at a radius of $34\,$au.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Disk Substructures at High Angular Resolution Project (DSHARP). X. Multiple Rings, a Misaligned Inner Disk, and a Bright Arc in the Disk around the T Tauri star HD 143006
Laura M. Pérez,Myriam Benisty,Myriam Benisty,Myriam Benisty,Sean M. Andrews,Andrea Isella,Cornelis P. Dullemond,Jane Huang,Nicolás T. Kurtovic,Viviana V. Guzmán,Zhaohuan Zhu,Tilman Birnstiel,Shangjia Zhang,John M. Carpenter,David J. Wilner,Luca Ricci,Xue-Ning Bai,E. Weaver,Karin I. Öberg +18 more
TL;DR: In this article, a detailed analysis of new Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) observations of the disk around the T-Tauri star HD 143006, which at 46 mas (7.6 au) resolution reveals new substructures in the 1.25 mm continuum emission.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Disk Substructures at High Angular Resolution Program (DSHARP). VIII. The Rich Ringed Substructures in the AS 209 Disk
Viviana V. Guzmán,Jane Huang,Sean M. Andrews,Andrea Isella,Laura M. Pérez,John M. Carpenter,Cornelis P. Dullemond,Luca Ricci,Tilman Birnstiel,Shangjia Zhang,Zhaohuan Zhu,Xue-Ning Bai,Myriam Benisty,Myriam Benisty,Karin I. Öberg,David J. Wilner +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed analysis of the high angular resolution (0.'' 037, corresponding to 5 au) observations of the T. Tauri star AS. 209 is presented, where nearly all of the emission can be explained with concentric Gaussian rings.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Multifrequency ALMA Characterization of Substructures in the GM Aur Protoplanetary Disk
Jane Huang,Sean M. Andrews,Cornelis P. Dullemond,Karin I. Öberg,Chunhua Qi,Zhaohuan Zhu,Tilman Birnstiel,John M. Carpenter,Andrea Isella,Enrique Macías,M. K. McClure,Laura M. Pérez,Richard Teague,David J. Wilner,Shangjia Zhang +14 more
TL;DR: FAS Division of Science, Research Computing Group at Harvard University and National Science Foundation under CAREER grant as discussed by the authors, 2017-09-1753168 and 2017-1715719.
Journal ArticleDOI

Viviana V. Guzmán,Jane Huang,Sean M. Andrews,Andrea Isella,Laura M. Pérez,John M. Carpenter,Cornelis P. Dullemond,Luca Ricci,Tilman Birnstiel,Shangjia Zhang,Zhaohuan Zhu,Xue-Ning Bai,Myriam Benisty,Karin I. Öberg,David J. Wilner +14 more
TL;DR: Andrews et al. as discussed by the authors presented a detailed analysis of the high-angular resolution (0''037, corresponding to 5 au) observations of the 1.25 mm continuum and CO$2-1$ emission from the disk around the T Tauri star AS 209.
