Journal ArticleDOI

Automatic hip abductor muscle fat fraction estimation and association with early OA cartilage degeneration biomarkers.

TL;DR: In this paper, a 3D V-Net was trained to segment the 3 muscles (gluteus medius, gluteus minimus and tensor fascia latae) and found associations between muscle fat fraction and T1ρ, T2 relaxation times values using voxel based relaxometry (VBR).
Book ChapterDOI

Future Perspective and Significance of Cartilage Imaging and Quantification

TL;DR: Techniques have been developed and optimized to visualize cartilage morphology, to quantify its volume and to analyze its biochemical composition, which are geared at preventing and treating traumatic and degenerative cartilage disease at the earliest stages.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

MR thermal monitoring of ultrasound interstitial thermal therapy

TL;DR: In this article, the feasibility of using MR to monitor tissue thermal coagulation and necrosis during ultrasound interstitial thermal therapy (USITT) was investigated, and specific recommendations on applicator fabrication and implementation of MR imaging sequences were given.
Journal ArticleDOI

Acronyms in bone densitometry.

TL;DR: Gluer et al. as discussed by the authors proposed the adoption of a uniform terminology and corresponding abbreviation for Dual X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) for bone densitometry.
