Journal ArticleDOI
On the glacial-interglacial variability of the Asian monsoon in speleothem δ18O records.
Guangxin Liu,Xianglei Li,Hong-Wei Chiang,Hai Cheng,Shufang Yuan,Sakonvan Chawchai,Shaoneng He,Yanbin Lu,Lin Thu Aung,Phyo Maung Maung,W N Tun,Kyaw Moe Oo,Xianfeng Wang +12 more
TL;DR: It is found that the records close to the monsoon moisture source show large glacial-interglacial variability, which then decreases landward, the moisture transport pathway effect, which counteracts the forcing of glacial boundary conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI
A decadal-resolution stalagmite record of strong Asian summer monsoon from northwestern Vietnam over the Dansgaard–Oeschger events 2–4
Dung Chi Nguyen,Yue-Gau Chen,Yue-Gau Chen,Hong-Wei Chiang,Chuan-Chou Shen,Xianfeng Wang,Lam Dinh Doan,Shufang Yuan,Mahjoor Ahmad Lone,Tsai-Luen Yu,Yin Lin,Y. Kuo +11 more
TL;DR: The authors presented a decadal-resolved δ18O record covering 30.0-22.7 thousand years ago from a stalagmite of Son La Province, northwestern Vietnam as a proxy record of the Asian summer monsoon.
Journal ArticleDOI
Biomechanical characteristics of slashing attack on different body parts of a dummy using a kitchen knife
Journal ArticleDOI
Characteristics of the Distance and Space Required for Knife Slashing Using a Motion Capture System.
Shufang Yuan,Shang-Xiao Li,Chaopeng Yang,Bin Ni,Wenxia Guo,Yi Shi,Dong-Mei Wang,Jiangang Pan,Ming Zhi Wang,Weiya Hao +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the relationship between the perpetrator's sex, victim's position and position as well as anthropometric parameters on distance and space required for slashing, to provide the theoretical basis for the judgment of whether the crime scene was consistent with the criminal activity space.
Journal ArticleDOI
The spatio-temporal pattern of Asian summer monsoon during glacial Termination II recorded by Chinese stalagmite δ18O
Wei Jia,Pingzhong Zhang,Xianfeng Wang,Shaoneng He,Guangxin Liu,Hongyu Shi,Binggui Cai,Shufang Yuan,Wenfei Zhang,Leilei Zhang,Tao Gao,Qi-Bin Sun,Hai Cheng,Youfeng Ning,R. Lawrence Edwards +14 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors examined a precisely dated stalagmite δ18O record between 133.1 and 127.0 kyr B.P. from Wanxiang Cave located at the ASM's northern edge in western China.
