A miniature cylindrical piezoelectric motor with an asymmetric vibrator

TL;DR: A miniature cylindrical-type traveling wave piezoelectric motor with an asymmetric vibrator is reported, which can excite two bidirectional traveling waves by changing the driving signal frequencies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structure and enhanced piezoelectric performance of BiScO3-PbTiO3-Pb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3 ternary high temperature piezoelectric ceramics

TL;DR: In this article, a ternary high temperature piezoelectric ceramics have been prepared by the traditional solid-state reaction methods and investigated in detail by X-Ray diffraction analysis, which showed that the system has a pure perovskite structure and the morphotropic phase boundary region shifts to the low PT region with the increasing PNN end member.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of magnetic domain structure on longitudinal and transverse magnetoelectric response of particulate magnetostrictive-piezoelectric composites

TL;DR: In this article, the magnetoelectric response of particulate magnetostrictive-piezoelectrically composites sensitively depends on the magnetic domain structures of magnetstrictive phase, and it is shown that engineered magnetic domains via controlled internal residual stress through appropriate processing, such as co-sintering under external stress (rather than isostatic pressing) in analogy to stress annealing of magnetostrictionive materials, provide a powerful means to optimize magnetolectric responses without fabricating anisotropic two-phase microstructures.
Journal ArticleDOI

A magneto-mechano-electric coupling equivalent circuit of piezoelectric bimorph/magnets composite cantilever

TL;DR: In this paper, a magneto-mechano-electric (MME) composite cantilever made of a piezoelectric bimorph and magnets was analyzed theoretically and its MME coupling equivalent circuit was developed based on equivalent circuit analyses.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced low-frequency magnetic field sensitivity in magnetoelectric composite with amplitude modulation method

TL;DR: In this paper, an amplitude modulation method (AMMAMM) was proposed for weak magnetic field HAC detection based on a magnetoelectric (ME) sensor and a lock-in amplifier.
