Unsteady mhd free convection flow of casson fluid past over an oscillating vertical plate embedded in a porous medium

The heat generation/absorption and thermo-diffusion on an unsteady free convective MHD flow of radiating and chemically reactive second grade fluid near an infinite vertical plate through a porous medium and taking the Hall current into account have been studied. Assume that the bounding plate has a ramped temperature with a ramped surface concentration and isothermal temperature with a ramped surface concentration. The analytical solutions for the governing equations are obtained by making use of the Laplace transforms technique. The velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles are discussed through graphs. We also found that velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles in the case of ramped temperature with ramped surface concentrations are less than those of isothermal temperature with ramped surface concentrations. Also, the expressions of the skin friction, Nusselt number, and Sherwood number are obtained and represented computationally through a tabular form.

This article aims to study the unsteady convection flow of nanofluids induced by free convection and the oscillating plate condition. The fluid is confined to the region over an infinite vertical flat plate with ramped wall temperature. Five different types of water-based nanofluids containing copper (Cu), silver (Ag), copper oxide (CuO), alumina ( Al2O3 and titanium oxide (TiO2 are chosen for this analysis. The Laplace transform technique is applied to obtain exact solutions of velocity and temperature for both cases of ramp and isothermal plate conditions. Ramp and isothermal solutions are compared graphically and it is found that the ramp velocity and the temperature are smaller in magnitude than isothermal velocity and temperature. Corresponding expressions for skin-friction and Nusselt number are also evaluated. The results are plotted for various physical parameters contained in the governing equations and discussed in details. Comparison with earlier results provides an excellent agreement.

Magnetic field influence on unsteady free convection flow of a second grade fluid near an infinite vertical flat plate with ramped wall temperature embedded in a porous medium is studied. It has been observed that magnitude of velocity as well as skin friction in case of ramped temperature is quite less than the isothermal temperature. Some special cases namely: (i) second grade fluid in the absence of magnetic field and porous medium and (ii) Newtonian fluid in the presence of magnetic field and porous medium, performing the same motion are obtained. Finally, the influence of various parameters is graphically shown.

Recent study shows that substitution box (S-box) only cannot be reliably used in image encryption techniques. We, in this paper, propose a novel and secure image encryption scheme that utilizes the combined effect of an algebraic substitution box along with the scrambling effect of the Arnold transform. The underlying algorithm involves the application of S-box, which is the most imperative source to create confusion and diffusion in the data. The speciality of the proposed algorithm lies, firstly, in the high sensitivity of our S-box to the choice of the initial conditions which makes this S-box stronger than the chaos-based S-boxes as it saves computational labour by deploying a comparatively simple and direct approach based on the algebraic structure of the multiplicative cyclic group of the Galois field. Secondly the proposed method becomes more secure by considering a combination of S-box with certain number of iterations of the Arnold transform. The strength of the S-box is examined in terms of various performance indices such as nonlinearity, strict avalanche criterion, bit independence criterion, linear and differential approximation probabilities etc. We prove through the most significant techniques used for the statistical analyses of the encrypted image that our image encryption algorithm satisfies all the necessary criteria to be usefully and reliably implemented in image encryption applications.

A Novel Image Encryption Based on Algebraic S-box and Arnold Transform

This article presents, effects of fractional order derivative and magnetic field on double convection flow of viscous fluid over a moving vertical plate with constant temperature and general concentration. The model is fractionalized by using Caputo-Fabrizio derivative operator. Closed form solutions of the fluid velocity, concentration and temperature are obtained by means of the Laplace transform. Numerical computations and graphical illustrations are used in order to study the effects of the Caputo-Fabrizio time-fractional parameter , magnetic parameter , Prandtl and Grashof numbers on velocity field. MHD FLOW OF Cu-Al 2 O 3 /WATER HYBRID NANOFLUID THROUGH A POROUS MEDIA

This research paper attempts to determine effectiveness of different demonstration plots adopted by Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) for agricultural technology transfer in district Chitral. The research was carried out in district Chitral during 2005 in three Field Management Units (FMUs) of the programme with focus on the farmers' awareness, rate of adoption, and opinion about usefulness of demonstration plots; and impact of the demonstration plots on productivity and income. AKRSP has used demonstration plots of different crops for extension purposes. The data reveal that demonstration plots were not only successful in creating awareness among farmers about modern technologies but also motivated them to apply these in their farming practices. Moreover, farmers participated in these activities to gain practical know-how about improved farming practices. These have resulted in increased productivity and income of the farmers. The rate
 of adoption of chemical fertilizers, farmyard manure and improved seeds increased more compared to that of insecticides and weedicides. However, the low rate of adoption of the inputs was due to non-availability, lack of farmers' awareness, and also AKRSP personnel's concern about environmental hazards. Varying number of the sampled farmers still lagged behind in adoption of the practices demonstrated. Overall the demonstration plots were successful because of their practical nature, which made the practices easy to understand.
