TL;DR: ProMIS provides a construct valid laparoscopic simulator and is a feasible tool to assess skills in a cross-section of surgical experience groups and has the potential to objectively measure pre-theatre dexterity practice until an agreed proficiency level of dexterity is achieved.

TL;DR: A combination of biomarker assays from a single Cytosponge sample can be used to determine a group of patients at low risk of progression, for whom endoscopy could be avoided, and could help to avoid overdiagnosis and overtreatment in patients with Barrett's oesophagus.
