Journal ArticleDOI

The SPCH1 region on human 7q31: genomic characterization of the critical interval and localization of translocations associated with speech and language disorder.

TL;DR: A detailed BAC-/PAC-based sequence map of this interval is assembled, containing 152 sequence tagged sites (STSs), 20 known genes, and >7.75 Mb of completed genomic sequence in the KE family, and refinement of the SPCH1 interval to a region between new markers 013A and 330B is refined.
Journal ArticleDOI

Systematic cloning of human minisatellites from ordered array charomid libraries.

TL;DR: The method combines cloning a size-selected fraction of human MboI DNA fragments in a charomid vector with hybridization screening of the library in ordered array to isolate minisatellite loci from human DNA.
Journal ArticleDOI

Molecular size of enzymes in Trypanosoma cruzi considered in relationship to the genetic interpretation of isozyme patterns

TL;DR: The molecular size of seven Trypanosoma cruzi enzymes, chosen because of their frequent use in studying trypanosome populations, has been found to be similar to that of their mammalian equivalents, compatible with recent interpretations of isozyme data implying the existence of genetic diploidy intrypanosomes.
