The ruthenium(II)-arene compound RAPTA-C induces apoptosis in EAC cells through mitochondrial and p53-JNK pathways
TL;DR: Results suggest a critical role for JNK and p53 in RAPTA-C-induced G2/M arrest and apoptosis of EAC-bearing mice, which results in a significant inhibition in the progression of cancer in an animal model, which emulates the human disease, and does so with remarkably low general toxicity; hence, RAPta-C has potential for clinical application.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cadmium induces lung inflammation independent of lung cell proliferation: a molecular approach.
Subhadip Kundu,Suman Sengupta,Soumya Chatterjee,Soham Mitra,Arindam Bhattacharyya,Arindam Bhattacharyya +5 more
TL;DR: The results prove that cadmium causes both inflammation and cell proliferation when applied in a low dose but proliferative changes occur independent of inflammation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanism of cadmium induced apoptosis in the immunocyte
TL;DR: It is shown that cadmium induced p53-dependent apoptosis through cooperation between Bcl-xl down regulation without changing the B cl-2 and Bax expression, the common target of p53, strongly indicating mitochondrial involvement in apoptosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Phase 1, Open-Label, Safety, Tolerability, and Efficacy Study of NC525 in Subjects with Advanced Myeloid Neoplasms
Nicholas J. Short,Tae-Kon Kim,Rustin R. Lovewell,Elizabeth A. Griffiths,Hetty E. Carraway,Stephanie Zeidan,E. Knowles,Megan Nelson,Jahangheer Shaik,Chelsea Zhou,Emilia Alina Barbu,Zachary T. Cusumano,Subhadip Kundu,Sasan Sharee,Ronald Copeland,Dallas B. Flies,Solomon Langermann,Han Myint,Jessica K. Altman,Farhad Ravandi +19 more
TL;DR: NC525 as discussed by the authors is a humanized immunoglobulin gamma 1, kappa (IgG1κ) monoclonal antibody that targets LAIR-1-expressing AML blasts and leukemic stem cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Abstract LB339: PARP inhibition reprograms CD8 T cells, enhancing their function and generation of prolonged memory, leading to greater anti-tumor immune response
Wael Traboulsi,Subhadip Kundu,Pankaj Kumar Ayesh Gaur,Zainab Ramlaoui,Dareen Sarhan,Nour A. K. Shobaki,Jacob S. Lee,Nazli Jafarzadeh,Simon T. Barry,Viia Valge-Archer,Vivek Verma,Seema Gupta,Samir N. Khleif +12 more
TL;DR: Traboulsi et al. as mentioned in this paper showed that PARP inhibition can enhance the number and cytotoxicity of antigen-specific CD8 T cells and the maintenance of memory population within the tumor microenvironment.
