Journal ArticleDOI
Construction of polynuclear lanthanide (Ln = DyIII, TbIII, and NdIII) cage complexes using pyridine–pyrazole-based ligands: versatile molecular topologies and SMM behavior
Sukhen Bala,Mousumi Sen Bishwas,Bhaskar Pramanik,Sumit Khanra,Katharina M. Fromm,Pankaj Poddar,Raju Mondal +6 more
TL;DR: Employment of two different pyridyl-pyrazolyl-based ligands afforded three octanuclear lanthanide( III) (Ln = Dy, Tb) cage compounds and one hexanuclear neodymium(III) coordination cage, exhibiting versatile molecular architectures including a butterfly core.
Journal ArticleDOI
One new azido bridged dinuclear copper(II) thiosemicarbazide complex: synthesis, DNA/protein binding, molecular docking study and cytotoxicity activity
Niladri Biswas,Sumit Khanra,Arnab Sarkar,Shamee Bhattacharjee,Deba Prasad Mandal,Ankur Chaudhuri,Sibani Chakraborty,Chirantan Roy Choudhury +7 more
TL;DR: The in vitro cytotoxicity of complex 1 towards two cell lines (AGS and A549 cancer cells) demonstrates that complex 1 has very good broad spectrum anticancer activity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hexanuclear copper(II) cage with {Cu3O···H···OCu3} core supported by a dicompartmental oxime ligand with m-xylyl spacer: synthesis, molecular structure and magnetic studies.
Sibasree Karmakar,Oindrila Das,Subhamoy Ghosh,Ennio Zangrando,Mara Johann,Eva Rentschler,Thomas Weyhermüller,Sumit Khanra,Tapan Kanti Paine +8 more
TL;DR: A new dicompartmental dioxime ligand (H(2)L) with m-xylyl spacer between the donor sites has been synthesised by Schiff-base condensation of α,α'-diamino-m-xylene and diacetyl monooxime, which confirmed the hexanuclear structure even in solution.
Journal ArticleDOI
Construction of Bis-pyrazole Based Co(II) Metal–Organic Frameworks and Exploration of Their Chirality and Magnetic Properties
Sudeshna Bhattacharya,Arijit Goswami,Bappaditya Gole,Sumi Ganguly,Sukhen Bala,Satirtha Sengupta,Sumit Khanra,Raju Mondal +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of Co(II) MOFs using a bis-pyrazole ligand and various benzene polycarboxylic acids were constructed. And the properties of these MOFs were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metal-Directed Formation of Molecular Helix, Cage, and Grid Using an Asymmetric Pyridine-Pyrazole Based Bis-Chelating Ligand and Properties
Sukhen Bala,Arijit Goswami,Satirtha Sengupta,Sumi Ganguly,Sudeshna Bhattacharya,Sumit Khanra,Raju Mondal +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a pyridine-pyrazole-based asymmetric ligand was used to construct and self-assemble molecular helix and polyhedral coordination cages.
