Kinetics and Mechanism of Aquachlororuthenium (III) Catalyzed Oxidation of Tartaric Acid by Acid Bromate

TL;DR: In this article, the first order rate constant increases with decrease in the dielectric constant of the medium, and a positive effect on the rate of reaction has been found on the successive addition of (H + ) and (Cl - ).
Journal ArticleDOI

Photovoltaic properties of low band gap copolymers based on phenylenevinylene donor and cyanovinylene 4-nitrophenyl acceptor units

TL;DR: In this article, two copolymers P1 and P2 having phenylenevinylene donor and cyanovinylene 4-nitrophenyl acceptor units, were synthesized by Heck coupling and employed as electron donor along with modified PCBM (F) as electron acceptor for the fabrication of bulk heterojunction (BHJ) photovoltaic devices.
Journal ArticleDOI

4,4′-Unsymmetrically substituted-2,2′-bipyridines: novel bidentate ligands on ruthenium(II) [3 + 2 + 1] mixed ligand complexes for efficient sensitization of nanocrystalline TiO2 in dye solar cells

TL;DR: A series of five ruthenium [3 + 2 + 1] complexes coded as MC107 and MC111 with novel unsymmetrical bipyridines as ancillary ligands and terpyridine tricarboxylic acid as an anchoring ligand have been successfully synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and UV-Visible spectrometry as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coexistence of Ankylosing Spondylitis and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

TL;DR: It is proposed that development of systemic lupus erythematosus in the 35-year-old man presented with a 4-year history of pain in the hip joint and lower spine may have been due to low grade chronic inflammation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tracking changes in research priorities in physics: a macro level analysis

TL;DR: This paper attempts to monitor the changes in research priorities in Physics by analyzing the research profile of thirty three countries in major fields of Physics as classified under PACS (Physics and Astronomy Classification scheme) and its implications for policy studies are discussed.
