Base assisted C-C coupling between carbonyl and polypyridyl ligands in a Ru-NADH-type carbonyl complex

TL;DR: A mechanism for the formation of a Ru-OCO-bridge complex was proposed here on the basis of H2O18 experiments, DDQ treatment and other experimental data, and these newly synthesized complexes appended with NAD-type ligands may have potential use as renewable hydride sources for organic reductions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Purely Physisorption‐Based CO‐Selective Gate‐Opening in Microporous Organically Pillared Layered Silicates

TL;DR: The regular arrangement of the pillars molecules in MOPS-5 was confirmed by the occurrence of a 10 band related to a long-range pseudo-hexagonal superstructure of pillar molecules in the interlayer space and the selective nature of the gate-opening might be used for separation of CO and N2 by pressure swing adsorption.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Study of Guest Molecule-Influenced Magnetism in Kagome Metal–Organic Framework

TL;DR: In this article, a continuous-wave electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) study of a metal-organic framework based on the kagome topology is presented, where the main structural unit of this compound is a copper paddlewheel (PW) consisting of two Cu2+ ions interconnected via four carboxylate groups in the syn-syn fashion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Four-Electron Reduction of a New Ruthenium Dicarbonyl Complex Having Two NAD Model Ligands through Decarboxylation in Water.

TL;DR: Three Ru-CO complexes, [Ru(pbn)2(CO)2]2+, [Ru-(pyridin-2-yl)-5,10-dihydrobenzo[b]-1,5-naphthyridine], exist as equilibrium mixtures in aqueous solutions.
