Journal ArticleDOI
Distribution and Genetic Profiles of Campylobacter in Commercial Broiler Production from Breeder to Slaughter in Thailand.
Sakaoporn Prachantasena,Petcharatt Charununtakorn,Suthida Muangnoicharoen,Luck Hankla,Natthaporn Techawal,Prapansak Chaveerach,Pravate Tuitemwong,Nipa Chokesajjawatee,Nicola J. Williams,Tom J. Humphrey,Taradon Luangtongkum +10 more
TL;DR: Genotypic identification of C. jejuni in slaughterhouses indicated that broilers were the main source of Campylobacter contamination of chicken meat during processing, and control and prevention strategies should be aimed at both farm and slaughterhouse levels.
Journal ArticleDOI
Climatic factors and prevalence of Campylobacter in commercial broiler flocks in Thailand
Sakaoporn Prachantasena,Petcharatt Charununtakorn,Suthida Muangnoicharoen,Luck Hankla,N. Techawal,Prapansak Chaveerach,Pravate Tuitemwong,Nipa Chokesajjawatee,Nicola J. Williams,Tom J. Humphrey,Taradon Luangtongkum +10 more
TL;DR: Generalized estimating equations (GEE) revealed that the increased rainfall and relative humidity were associated with the increase of Campylobacter colonization in broiler flocks, while no relationship between ambient temperature and Campyloblacter colonization status was identified.

The inactivated NDV-HXP-S COVID-19 vaccine induces a significantly higher ratio of neutralizing to non-neutralizing antibodies in humans as compared to mRNA vaccines
Juan Manuel Carreño,A. Raskin,Gyanendra Singh,J. Tcheou,H. Kawabata,C. Gleason,Komal Srivastava,Vladimir Vigdorovich,Nicholas Dambrauskas,S. Gupta,I. González,J Martínez,Stefan Slamanig,D. Noah Sather,Ramappa Raghunandan,Ponthip Wirachwong,Suthida Muangnoicharoen,Punnee Pitisuttithum,Jens Wrammert,Mehul S. Suthar,Peter Palese,Adolfo García-Sastre,Viviana Simon,Florian Krammer +23 more
TL;DR: Vaccination with inactivated NDV-HXP-S induces a high proportion of neutralizing antibodies and absolute neutralizing antibody titers comparable to those after mRNA vaccination.

Comparison of Two Methods for the Recovery of Campylobacter from Chicken Carcasses
TL;DR: It is revealed that the direct plating method may be used as an alternative method for Campylobacter isolation from chicken carcass rinse since the recovery rate and Campyloblacter genotypes obtained from this method was quite similar to those obtained from the selective enrichment method.
