Objective comparison of methods to decode anomalous diffusion.

TL;DR: The Anomalous Diffusion Challenge (AnDi) as mentioned in this paper was an open competition for the characterization of anomalous diffusion from the measurement of an individual trajectory, which traditionally relies on calculating the trajectory mean squared displacement.

Objective comparison of methods to decode anomalous diffusion

TL;DR: This paper presents a meta-anatomy of the response of the immune system to chemotherapy, a model derived from the model developed by Carl Friedrich Gauss in 1916.
Journal ArticleDOI

Langevin Dynamics Driven by a Telegraphic Active Noise

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the Langevin dynamics under a telegraphic active noise and showed that depending on the properties of the amplitude and duration time of the active noise various transport patterns emerge.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sharply tuned small force measurement with a biomimetic sensor

TL;DR: A biomimetic force sensor under water showing a nonlinear amplification mechanism in the hair cell that can precisely detect pulse signals weaker than noise and more than an order of magnitude increases in sensitivity and frequency selectivity compared to the passive sensor.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ferromagnetically coupled magnetic impurities in a quantum point contact.

TL;DR: It is found that strongly localized states in the point contact appear when a new transverse conductance channel opens and longitudinal resonant level is formed due to momentum mismatch, which sheds light on the experimentally observed puzzling coexistence of Kondo correlation and spin filtering in a quantum point contact.
