Network analyses based on comprehensive molecular interaction maps reveal robust control structures in yeast stress response pathways

TL;DR: Large-scale molecular interaction maps of six major stress response pathways in Saccharomyces cerevisiae are constructed and complex-mediated reactions are proposed as a key mechanism mediating robust regulation of the yeast stress response.
Journal ArticleDOI

Seroprevalence of pandemic 2009 (H1N1) influenza A virus among schoolchildren and their parents in Tokyo, Japan.

TL;DR: The data suggest that the pandemic virus was readily transmitted among schoolchildren in elementary schools and that it was also transmitted from schoolchildren to their parents, and that many adults appeared to have experienced asymptomatic infection with the pand epidemic.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cultivation of cos lettuce using blue LED and quantum dot wavelength conversion sheets

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used quantum dot (QD) sheets for wave conversion and clarified the advantages and disadvantages of this technique for plant cultivation with artificial lighting, where green or red LED and blue LED (G-LED and R-LED) respectively were used for cultivating cos lettuce.
Journal ArticleDOI

Involvement of Gtr1p in the oxidative stress response in yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

TL;DR: In this article , the roles of Gtr1p in oxidative stress responses were examined, and it was shown that Gtr 1p is involved in the response of yeast to hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).
