Is misery perfusion still a predictor of stroke in symptomatic major cerebral artery disease
Hiroshi Yamauchi,Tatsuya Higashi,Shinya Kagawa,Ryuichi Nishii,Takashi Kudo,Kanji Sugimoto,Hidehiko Okazawa,Hidenao Fukuyama +7 more
TL;DR: In symptomatic major cerebral artery disease, misery perfusion remains a predictor of subsequent stroke, although the recurrence rate was lower than the previous study, and in patients without misery perfusions, the risk of stroke was reduced over time.
of the spinal cord in patients with cervical compressive myelopathy
Kenzo Uchida,Hideaki Nakajima,Hidehiko Okazawa,Hirohiko Kimura,Takashi Kudo,Shuji Watanabe,Ai Yoshida,Hisatoshi Baba +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the use of 3D MRI/18 F-FDG PET fusion imaging for defining intramedullary signal changes on MRI scans and local glucose metabolic rate measured on 18 F-DFG PET scans in relation to clinical outcome.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cardiac Involvement of Adult T-Cell Leukemia/Lymphoma
Hiroki Nagayama,Eijun Sueyoshi,Takeshi Hayashida,Ichiro Sakamoto,Jun Taguchi,Takashi Kudo,Masataka Uetani +6 more
TL;DR: Cardiac Involvement of Adult T-Cell Leukemia/Lymphoma Hiroki Nagayama, MD, Eijun Sueyoshi,MD, and Takeshi Hayashida, MD; Ichiro Sakamoto,MD; and Masataka Uetani, MD.
Journal ArticleDOI
Appropriate parameters of the ordered-subset expectation maximization algorithm on measurement of myocardial blood flow and oxygen consumption with 11C-acetate PET.
Masato Kobayashi,Tetsuya Mori,Yasushi Kiyono,Tetsuya Tsujikawa,Rikiya Maruyama,Yusuke Higaki,Naoto Shikano,Ryuichi Nishii,Keiichi Kawai,Keiichi Kawai,Takashi Kudo,Takashi Kudo,Hidehiko Okazawa +12 more
TL;DR: Appropriate parameters are 28S6I with a 10.0GF on the MBFOSEM and kmonoOSEM measurement using 11C-acetate PET, and accurate quantitative values are provided by the OSEM algorithm with the appropriate parameters.
Book ChapterDOI
Radiation-Sensitivity and Transcription Profiles in Various Mutant p53 Cells
TL;DR: The tumor suppressor gene p53 plays an important role in determining radiosensitivity and there have been reports of cells harboring mutant p53 that are sensitive to ionizing radiation and anticancer drugs.
