Journal ArticleDOI
Enhancing quantum control by bootstrapping a quantum processor of 12 qubits
Dawei Lu,Dawei Lu,Keren Li,Keren Li,Jun Li,Hemant Katiyar,Annie Jihyun Park,Guanru Feng,Tao Xin,Tao Xin,Hang Li,Hang Li,Gui-Lu Long,Aharon Brodutch,Aharon Brodutch,Jonathan Baugh,Bei Zeng,Bei Zeng,Raymond Laflamme,Raymond Laflamme +19 more
TL;DR: The results show that even at the 12-qubit level, a quantum processor can be a useful lab instrument, and propose a method for combining the MQFC technique with a twirling protocol, to optimize the control sequence that produces a desired Clifford gate.
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental Observation of Equilibrium and Dynamical Quantum Phase Transitions via Out-of-Time-Ordered Correlators.
Xinfang Nie,Xinfang Nie,Bo-Bo Wei,Xi Chen,Ze Zhang,Xiuzhu Zhao,Chudan Qiu,Yu Tian,Yunlan Ji,Tao Xin,Dawei Lu,Jun Li +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the out-of-time-ordered correlators (OTOC) has been proposed as an order parameter to dynamically detect both equilibrium quantum phase transitions (EQPTs) and dynamical quantum phase transition (DQPT) in a quantum spin chain via quench dynamics of OTOC on a nuclear magnetic resonance quantum simulator.
Journal ArticleDOI
Observation of information flow in the anti--symmetric system with nuclear spins
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed an algorithm for simulating the generalized anti-protein $${\mathcal{PT}}$$ -symmetric system in the quantum circuit model.
Journal ArticleDOI
Local-measurement-based quantum state tomography via neural networks
Tao Xin,Tao Xin,Sirui Lu,Ningping Cao,Ningping Cao,Galit Anikeeva,Dawei Lu,Jun Li,Gui-Lu Long,Bei Zeng,Bei Zeng,Bei Zeng +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, a fully connected neural network is proposed to recover the ground states of $$k$$-local Hamiltonians from just the local information, where a CNN is built to fulfill the task with up to seven qubits.

Enhancing quantum control by bootstrapping a quantum processor of 12 qubits
Dawei Lu,Dawei Lu,Keren Li,Keren Li,Jun Li,Hemant Katiyar,Annie Jihyun Park,Guanru Feng,Tao Xin,Tao Xin,Hang Li,Hang Li,Gui-Lu Long,Aharon Brodutch,Aharon Brodutch,Jonathan Baugh,Bei Zeng,Bei Zeng,Raymond Laflamme,Raymond Laflamme +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a measurement-based feedback control (MQFC) was used to optimize a control sequence for a complex 12-qubit task: preparation of a 12-coherent state.
