Journal ArticleDOI

Quantum control and process tomography of a semiconductor quantum dot hybrid qubit

TL;DR: This work demonstrates a qubit that is a hybrid of spin and charge, requiring neither nuclear-state preparation nor micromagnets, and enables fast rotations about two axes of the Bloch sphere.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fast hybrid silicon double-quantum-dot qubit.

TL;DR: A quantum dot qubit architecture that has an attractive combination of speed and fabrication simplicity, enabling fast implementation of one- and two-qubit gates in a simpler geometry and with fewer operations than in other proposed quantumdot qubit architectures with fast operations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tunable Spin Loading and T 1 of a Silicon Spin Qubit Measured by Single-Shot Readout

TL;DR: Using a theory that includes excited states of the dot and energy-dependent tunneling, it is found that a global fit to the loading rate and spin-up fraction is in good agreement with the data.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coherent quantum oscillations and echo measurements of a Si charge qubit

TL;DR: In this paper, fast quantum oscillations of a charge qubit in a double quantum dot fabricated in a Si/SiGe heterostructure are demonstrated and characterized experimentally, and the measured inhomogeneous dephasing time ranges from 127 ps to 2.1 ns; it depends substantially on how the energy difference of the two qubit states varies with external voltages.
