TL;DR: The inhibitory action of 9-(1,3-dihydroxy-2-propoxymethyl)guanine on the replication of human cytomegalovirus was studied and viral infectivity and viral DNA synthesis were reduced more than viral protein synthesis.

TL;DR: In this paper, the early phase of mitogenic action of Concanavalin A on lymphocytes was measured by incorporation of labelled precursors in RNA, DNA or protein, and there was no evidence for a role of cyclic AMP in the process of inhibition.
