Journal ArticleDOI
Perovskite-perovskite tandem photovoltaics with optimized band gaps
Giles E. Eperon,Giles E. Eperon,Tomas Leijtens,Kevin A. Bush,Rohit Prasanna,Thomas Green,Jacob Tse-Wei Wang,David P. McMeekin,George Volonakis,Rebecca L. Milot,Richard May,Axel F. Palmstrom,Daniel J. Slotcavage,Rebecca A. Belisle,Jay B. Patel,Elizabeth S. Parrott,Rebecca J. Sutton,Wen Ma,Farhad Moghadam,Bert Conings,Bert Conings,Aslihan Babayigit,Aslihan Babayigit,Hans-Gerd Boyen,Stacey F. Bent,Feliciano Giustino,Laura M. Herz,Michael B. Johnston,Michael D. McGehee,Henry J. Snaith +29 more
TL;DR: This device architecture and materials set will enable “all-perovskite” thin-film solar cells to reach the highest efficiencies in the long term at the lowest costs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Radiative Monomolecular Recombination Boosts Amplified Spontaneous Emission in HC(NH2)2SnI3 Perovskite Films
Rebecca L. Milot,Giles E. Eperon,Thomas Green,Henry J. Snaith,Michael B. Johnston,Laura M. Herz +5 more
TL;DR: It is shown that amplified spontaneous emission in formamidinium tin triiodide thin films is supported by an observed radiative monomolecular charge recombination pathway deriving from its unintentional doping, opening a pathway for ultralow light-emission thresholds.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metal composition influences optoelectronic quality in mixed-metal lead–tin triiodide perovskite solar absorbers
Matthew T. Klug,Rebecca L. Milot,Rebecca L. Milot,Jay B. Patel,Thomas Green,Harry C. Sansom,Michael D. Farrar,Alexandra J. Ramadan,Samuele Martani,Zhiping Wang,Bernard Wenger,James M. Ball,Liam Langshaw,Annamaria Petrozza,Michael B. Johnston,Laura M. Herz,Henry J. Snaith +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the optoelectronic quality and photovoltaic performance of the ((HC(NH2)2)0.83Cs0.17)(Pb1−ySny)I3) perovskite materials across the full range of achievable band gaps by substituting between 0.001% and 70% of the Pb content with Sn.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interplay of Structural and Optoelectronic Properties in Formamidinium Mixed Tin–Lead Triiodide Perovskites
Elizabeth S. Parrott,Thomas Green,Rebecca L. Milot,Michael B. Johnston,Henry J. Snaith,Laura M. Herz +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the structural and electronic properties of the FAPb1-xSnxI3 perovskite are presented as a function of lead:tin content across the alloy series.
Journal ArticleDOI
Perovskite/silicon tandem photovoltaics: Technological disruption without business disruption
TL;DR: In this paper, the integration of perovskites into the well-established silicon production infrastructure to form perov-skite/silicon tandem photovoltaics can raise the rate of solar deployment.
