Inorganic caesium lead iodide perovskite solar cells

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors showed that the organic cation is not essential, but simply a convenience for forming lead triiodide perovskites with good photovoltaic properties.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bandgap-tunable cesium lead halide perovskites with high thermal stability for efficient solar cells

TL;DR: In this paper, the highest reported efficiency cesium lead halide perovskite solar cells are realized by tuning the bandgap and stabilizing the black perovsite phase at lower temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced UV-light stability of planar heterojunction perovskite solar cells with caesium bromide interface modification

Abstract: Interfacial engineering has been shown to play a vital role in boosting the performance of perovskite solar cells in the past few years. Here we demonstrate that caesium bromide (CsBr), as an interfacial modifier between the electron collection layer and the CH3NH3PbI3−xClx absorber layer, can effectively enhance the stability of planar heterojunction devices under ultra violet (UV) light soaking. Additionally, the device performance is improved due to the alleviated defects at the perovskite-titania heterojunction and enhanced electron extraction.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Importance of Moisture in Hybrid Lead Halide Perovskite Thin Film Fabrication

TL;DR: A comprehensive and well-controlled study of the effect of moisture exposure on methylammonium lead halide perovskite film formation and properties finds that films formed in higher humidity atmospheres have a less continuous morphology but significantly improved photoluminescence, and that film formation is faster.
