Geothermal Power Cycle Analysis for Commercial Applicability Using Sequestered Supercritical CO2 as a Heat Transfer or Working Fluid

TL;DR: In this article, two different system designs were analyzed for power production with varying reservoir parameters, including reservoir depth, temperature, and CO2 mass flow rate, and the first design is a direct single-loop system with the CO2 run directly through the turbine.
Journal ArticleDOI

Temperature and Heat Flow Measurements From an Insulated Concrete Bermed Wall and Adjacent Floor

TL;DR: In this paper, temperature distributions and heat flows in a bermed concrete wall and concrete floor have been recorded for two years at the Iowa State University Energy Research House and the results show the importance of interior insulation, exterior insulation near the top, and vertical heat conduction.
