Fusion proteins comprising FGF-21 and GLP-1R agonist
Oliver Boscheinen,Matthias Dreyer,Habermann Paul,Hans-Ludwig Schaefer,Mark Sommerfeld,Thomas Langer +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a fusion protein comprising at least one FGF-21 (fibroblast growth factor-21) compound and one GLP-1R (glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor) agonist was proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mutant TRIAP1 causes impaired mitochondrial bioenergetics and myopathy
Micol Falabella,Luis Carlos Tábara,Olivia V. Poole,Takashi Tatsuta,S Lu,Cathy E. Woodward,Robyn Labrum,Channa Hewamadduma,Erika Fernandez-Vizarra,Thomas Langer,Jan-Willem Taanman,Michael G. Hanna,Julien Prudent,Antonella Spinazzola,Robert D S Pitceathly +14 more
Journal ArticleDOI
An intermolecular hydrogen bonded network in the PRELID-TRIAP protein family plays a role in lipid sensing.
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used molecular dynamics simulations to demonstrate that the lipid binding is mediated by an extended, water-mediated hydrogen bonding network, and a key mutation, R53E, was found to disrupt this network, causing lipid to be released from the complex.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nitazenes are potent mu‐opioid receptor agonists with profound respiratory depression
Barbara Palković,Nicholas J. Malcom,John D. McCorvy,Thomas Langer,Jennifer J. Callison,Eckehard A. E. Stuth,Edward J. Zuperku,Astrid G. Stucke +7 more
TL;DR: The objective of this study was to compare the pharmacokinetics with regards to respiratory depression between N‐desethyl‐isotonitazene and fentanyl in vivo rabbit model.
