Journal ArticleDOI
Revised high energy behavior of the Deutsch-Märk (DM) formula for the calculation of electron impact ionization cross sections of atoms
TL;DR: In this article, the authors modified the Deutsch-Mark (DM) formula for the calculation of single atomic ionization cross sections by replacing the previously used Gryzinsky-type energy dependence by a scaled ln(E )/E energy dependence.
Journal ArticleDOI
Trace gas monitoring at the Mauna Loa Baseline Observatory using Proton-Transfer Reaction Mass Spectrometry
TL;DR: In this article, real-time monitoring of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) using a Proton-Transfer Reaction Mass Spectrometer was performed at the Mauna Loa Baseline Station (19.54N, 155.58W) in March/April 2001.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electron-impact ionization of Ar 2 , ArKr, Kr 2 , KrXe, and Xe 2
TL;DR: In this article, the relative cross sections for electron-impact ionization of the rare-gas Van der Waals dimers Ar/sub 2/, ArKr, Kr, Kr-sub 2/sup ts+/, KrXe/sup +/, and Xe/sub 1/sup tts+/ have been measured with a mass spectrometer in the electron energy range from threshold to 180 eV.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combined experimental and theoretical study on the nature and the metastable decay pathways of the amino acid ion fragment [M-H]-.
Helga Dögg Flosadóttir,Stephan Denifl,Fabio Zappa,N. Wendt,Andreas Mauracher,A. Bacher,Hannes Jónsson,Tilmann D. Märk,Paul Scheier,Oddur Ingólfsson +9 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Calculated cross sections for the electron-impact ionization of excited argon atoms using the DM formalism
H. Deutsch,Kurt Becker,Alexei N. Grum-Grzhimailo,Klaus Bartschat,H. Summers,M. Probst,S. Matt-Leubner,Tilmann D. Märk +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the semiclassical Deutsch-Mark formalism was used to calculate absolute cross sections for the electron-impact ionization of excited argon atoms from threshold to 1000 eV.
