Structural equation modelling of potential risk factors for pedestrian accidents in rural and urban roads.

TL;DR: Factor analysis showed that four exogenous latent variables had a significant relationship with fatal accidents among pedestrians, and the poor quality of cars manufactured in Iran in addition to the poor design of intersections and major roads (urban) and ring roads (suburban) may be important reasons of the increased fatal accidents in the studied areas.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the relative role of environmental norms, transport priorities and resistance to change for acceptance of transport push measures in an urban Norwegian public with car access and found that awareness of consequences and personal norms were associated with more acceptance, whereas priorities of flexibility and priorities of safety and security are associated with a low acceptance.
