Fluorine Transfer to Alkyl Radicals
Montserrat Rueda-Becerril,Claire Chatalova Sazepin,Joe C. T. Leung,Tulin Okbinoglu,Pierre Kennepohl,Jean-François Paquin,Glenn M. Sammis +6 more
TL;DR: A new approach to alkyl fluorination has been developed that utilizes the reagent N-fluorobenzenesulfonimide as a fluorine transfer agent to alKYl radicals, and calculations reveal that fluorine-containing ionic reagents are likely candidates for further expansion of this approach to polar reaction media.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison of HIV-derived lentiviral and MLV-based gammaretroviral vector integration sites in primate repopulating cells.
Brian C. Beard,David R. Dickerson,Kate Beebe,Christina Gooch,James Fletcher,Tulin Okbinoglu,Daniel G. Miller,Michael A. Jacobs,Rajinder Kaul,Hans-Peter Kiem,Hans-Peter Kiem,Grant D. Trobridge,Grant D. Trobridge +12 more
TL;DR: Microarray analysis showed that both gammaretroviral and lentiviral vectors were found close to genes with high expression levels in primitive cells enriched for hematopoietic stem cells, which helps define the relative risk of insertional mutagenesis with MLV-, HIV-, and simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV)-based vectors in a highly relevant primate model.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation of (micro-)meteoritic materials at the new hard X-ray imaging PUMA beamline for heritage sciences.
Pieter Tack,Benjamin Bazi,Bart Vekemans,Tulin Okbinoglu,Flore Van Maldeghem,Steven Goderis,S. Schöder,Laszlo Vincze +7 more
TL;DR: (confocal)
Journal ArticleDOI
Synchrotron µ-XRF imaging and µ-XANES of black-glazed wares at the PUMA beamline: Insights on technological markers for colonial productions
Alessandra Gianoncelli,Simona Raneri,S. Schoeder,Tulin Okbinoglu,Germana Barone,A. Santostefano,Paolo Mazzoleni +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed a selection of Attic and western-Greek black-glazed vessels from two archaeological excavations in Gela (Sicily, Italy), currently held at the Gela Archaeological Museum.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nature of S–N Bonding in Sulfonamides and Related Compounds: Insights into π-Bonding Contributions from Sulfur K-Edge X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy
TL;DR: In this article, the factors that cause sulfonamides to form sulfonamide were investigated and the authors proposed a method to identify the most important factors that lead to sulfon amide formation.
