Theoretical energy saving analysis of air conditioning system using heat pipe heat exchanger for Indian climatic zones

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the possible energy savings using heat pipe heat exchanger (HPHX) for heat recovery in air conditioning system for Indian climatic zones, and the analysis was performed for a 6 row HPHX and assuming outdoor air quantity as 1m3/s, return air dry bulb temperature as 23 °C and compressor power as 1kW/TR.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of annual energy savings in air conditioning using different heat pipe heat exchanger configurations integrated with and without evaporative cooling

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance and selection of HPHX with different configurations, for Indian climatic zone was investigated. And the experimental correlations obtained are used for investigating annual energy savings in air conditioning using HPHHX integrated with and without evaporative cooling, for India climatic zones.
Journal ArticleDOI

A case study on energy savings in air conditioning system by heat recovery using heat pipe heat exchanger

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the possible energy savings using heat pipe heat exchanger (HPHX) for heat recovery in air conditioning system for a process air conditioning facility in Pune city, India.

A Review on Heat Pipe for Air Conditioning applications

TL;DR: A literature review on heat pipe for air conditioning applications is conducted in the present paper as discussed by the authors focusing on the dehumidification enhancement and sensible heat recovery aspects of heat pipe heat exchanger for an air conditioning application.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental performance and parametric analysis of heat pipe heat exchanger for air conditioning application integrated with evaporative cooling

TL;DR: In this paper, the experimental performance of different heat pipe heat exchanger (HPHX) configurations using distilled water as the working fluid is reported, and the results of the experimental analysis highlight the benefits of HPHX integrated with evaporative cooling for achieving significant energy savings in air conditioning application.
