Journal Article
Synovial fluid metabolomics in different forms of arthritis assessed by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
Thomas Hügle,Helena Kovacs,Ingmar Heijnen,Thomas Daikeler,Ulrich Baisch,Joshua M. Hicks,Victor Valderrabano +6 more
TL;DR: 1H-NMR is a fast analytic tool with possible implications in synovial fluid diagnostics as a distinctive metabolism is observed in septic arthritis whereas metabolites in OA are similar to those in inflammatory arthritis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Homolytic Bond Strengths and Formation Rates in Half‐Sandwich Chromium Alkyl Complexes: Relevance for Controlled Radical Polymerization
Yohan Champouret,Ulrich Baisch,Rinaldo Poli,Li-Ming Tang,Julia L. Conway,Kevin M. Smith,Kevin M. Smith +6 more
TL;DR: The one-electron reactivity of transition-metal complexes and its relevance in CRP is interested in.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cyclopentadienyl Chromium β-Diketiminate Complexes: Initiators, Ligand Steric Effects, and Deactivation Processes in the Controlled Radical Polymerization of Vinyl Acetate
Yohan Champouret,K. Cory MacLeod,Ulrich Baisch,Brian O. Patrick,Kevin M. Smith,Rinaldo Poli,Rinaldo Poli +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a new compound CpCr(nacnacAr,Ar′) was synthesized and used in polymerization experiments in addition to the previously known analogues with Ar = Ar′ = xyl, 1, or dipp, 5.
Journal ArticleDOI
Stabilization of a Diphosphagermylene through pπ–pπ Interactions with a Trigonal‐Planar Phosphorus Center
TL;DR: DFT calculations support and NBO and AIM analyses are consistent with a Ge-P bond order greater than unity, suggesting a significant degree of P-Ge multiple bond character that is due to delocalization of the phosphorus lone pair into the vacant p-orbital at germanium.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nanocrystalline lanthanide nitride materials synthesised by thermal treatment of amido and ammine metallocenes: X-ray studies and DFT calculations.
TL;DR: The decomposition process of ammine lanthanide metallocenes was studied by X-ray diffractometry, spectroscopy and theoretical investigations and proved the formation of dimeric mu(2)-bridged compounds.
