Extraordinary Electrical Conductance of Non-conducting Polymers Under Vibrational Strong Coupling
Sunil Kumar,Subharanjan Biswas,Umer Rashid,Kavya S. Mony,Robrecht M. A. Vergauwe,Veerabhadrarao Kaliginedi,Anoop Thomas +6 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors show that strongly coupling the vibrational transitions of polystyrene (PS) and poly (benzyl-methacrylate) (PBMA) to the vacuum electromagnetic field of the cavity enhances the electrical conductance by several orders of magnitude.
Book ChapterDOI
Valorization of Waste Date Seeds for Green Carbon Catalysts and Biodiesel Synthesis
Ala’a H. Al-Muhtaseb,Farrukh Jamil,Lamya Al Haj,Eyas Mahmoud,Mohamed Becherif,Umer Rashid,Sikander Rafiq,Abdulaziz Atabani,Gopalakrishnan Kumar +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a better way to valorize the waste biomass (Date pits) is adopted in order to get environment friendly catalyst which will be effectively used for producing biodiesel.
Journal ArticleDOI
Antidiabetic Activity of Ficusonolide, a Triterpene Lactone from Ficus foveolata (Wall. ex Miq.): In Vitro, In Vivo, and In Silico Approaches.
Ala Ud Din,Maria Khan,Muhammad Zahir Shah,Abdur Rauf,Umer Rashid,Anees Ahmed Khalil,Khair Zaman,Yahya S. Al-Awthan,Yahya S. Al-Awthan,Mohammed A. Al-Duais,Mohammed A. Al-Duais,Omar Bahattab,Adil A. H. Mujawah,Naveed Muhammad +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a triterpene lactone (ficusonolide) isolated from F. foveolata was studied for antidiabetic potential through the in vitro antidisabetic paradigm employing L-6 cells and an in vivo antidisciplinary assay against non-insulin-dependent rats.
Journal ArticleDOI
Physicochemical Properties of Waste Palm-Based Catalysts Synthesized from Pyrolyzed and Hydrothermalized Chars for Biodiesel Production
Journal ArticleDOI
Naphthoquinones from Diospyros lotus as potential urease inhibitors: In vitro and in silico studies
Abdur Rauf,Fahad A. Alhumaydhi,Umer Rashid,Abdullah S. M. Aljohani,Yahya S. Al-Awthan,Omar Bahattab,Muhammad Saleem +6 more
TL;DR: The binding orientation and interactions with the important residues of urease enzyme revealed that the three compounds inactivate the enzyme activity by interacting with Ni bi-center as well as with the tailpiece residues.
