Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of Laboratory Ultrasound Contrast Agents
Jingam Park,Donghee Park,Unchul Shin,Sang-Hyub Moon,Chihyun Kim,Han Sung Kim,Hyunjin Park,Kiju Choi,Bong Kwang Jung,Jaemin Oh,Jongbum Seo +10 more
TL;DR: Experiments indicate that UCAs composed of spherical microbubbles, the majority of which were smaller than 1 um, were successfully synthesized and can be used for research in both diagnoses and therapies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transdermal Drug Delivery Using a Specialized Cavitation Seed for Ultrasound
Donghee Park,Jong Ho Won,Unchul Shin,Hyeon Jin Park,Gillsoo Song,Ji Young Jang,Hyunjin Park,Chul Woo Kim,Jong Bum Seo +8 more
TL;DR: Conclusively, sonophoresis with the proposed cavitation seed demonstrated the significant improvement in TDD and the possibility of macromolecule delivery into the skin.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sound Packing DNA: packing open circular DNA with low-intensity ultrasound
Donghee Park,Bong Kwang Jung,Hyunjin Park,Hyungbeen Lee,Gyudo Lee,Jingam Park,Unchul Shin,Jong Ho Won,Yong Jun Jo,Jin Woo Chang,Sang Woo Lee,Dae Sung Yoon,Jongbum Seo,Chul Woo Kim +13 more
TL;DR: This study provides the first evidence to show that low-intensity pulsed ultrasound can directly alter DNA topology, and is anticipated to be a starting point for improved non-viral gene delivery.
Sound Packing DNA: packing open circular DNA with low-intensity
Bong-Kwang Jung,Hyunjin Park,Hyungbeen Lee,Gyudo Lee,Unchul Shin,Jong Ho Won,Yong Jun Jo,Jin Woo Chang,Sang Woo Lee,Dae Sung Yoon,Chul Woo Kim,Jongbum Seo +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, low-intensity pulsedultrasound was used to pack open circular DNA into supercoil form, and the double helix was coiled into a higher order helix form.
