Journal ArticleDOI

Heteroaromatic studies of purine bases

TL;DR: In this paper, the molecular vibration method and the quantum mechanical δ-function model are applied to obtain the bond polarizability values of purine and its derivatives such as adenine and guanine, with special reference to the electrophilic and nucleophilic reactivity of the carbon atoms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Resonant frequencies of whispering gallery modes of dielectric resonator

TL;DR: In this paper, the resonant frequencies in dielectric disc were investigated using ring resonator model, and the structural design parameters were used to generate a nume!ical expression for describing the operational frequencies useful for computeraided design applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Relaxation dynamics of l-alanine in water medium investigated by dielectric relaxation spectroscopy.

TL;DR: The theoretical dipole moment of L-alanine is calculated at gaseous state as well as in aqueous medium by using PCM and IEFPCM model at HF, DFT/B3LYP and MP2 calculations using 6-311G* basis set and analysis between experimentally determined parameters and computed dipole moments were discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magneto-optic rotatory dispersion — studies of some substituted benzenes by a new dispersion relation

TL;DR: In this paper, the magneto-optic rotatory dispersion (MORD) is calculated for chloro-, bromo-, methyl-, and dimethyl substituted benzenes.
