Isospin decomposition of the basic double-pionic fusion in the region of the ABC effect

P. Adlarson, +120 more
- 25 Apr 2013 -
TL;DR: In this paper, high-statistics measurements of the basic double-pionic fusion reactions pn = d pi(0)pi(0), pn > 0, pn < 0, and pp = 0.
Journal ArticleDOI

Estimating the NEMA characteristics of the J-PET tomograph using the GATE package.

TL;DR: In this paper, a whole-body positron emission tomography (PET) system based on plastic scintillators is developed by the J-PET Collaboration, and the spatial resolution, sensitivity, scatter fraction and noise equivalent count rate are estimated according to the National Electrical Manufacturers Association norm, as a function of the length of the tomograph, the number of detection layers, the diameter of the computed tomographic chamber and for various types of applied readout.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for eta-mesic He-4 with the WASA-at-COSY detector

P. Adlarson, +113 more
- 08 Mar 2013 -
TL;DR: In this paper, an exclusive measurement of the excitation function for the (3)Hep pi(-) reaction was performed at the Cooler Synchrotron COSY-Julich with the WASA-at-COSY detection system.
Journal ArticleDOI

Exclusive measurement of the η→π+π−γ decay

P. Adlarson, +131 more
- 20 Jan 2012 -
TL;DR: An exclusive measurement of the decay eta-to-pi(+) pi(-) gamma has been performed at the WASA facility at COSY as mentioned in this paper, where the eta mesons were produced in the fusion reaction pd -> He-3 X at a proton be...
