Journal ArticleDOI

Runoff, sediment and nutrient exports from a Mediterranean vineyard under integrated production: An experiment at plot scale

TL;DR: In this paper, the impact of minimum tillage and regulated fertilization practices, driven by integrated production, on runoff and associated sediment and nutrient exports (total phosphorous - TP, total nitrogen - TN and nitrates - NO3) was assessed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cocktails of pesticide residues in conventional and organic farming systems in Europe - Legacy of the past and turning point for the future.

TL;DR: In this paper, the residues with the highest frequency of detection and the highest content in soil were herbicides: glyphosate and its main metabolite AMPA (P-G, N-P, S-O), and pendimethalin (S-V).
Journal ArticleDOI

Phylogeography and population genetics of the endangered Amazonian manatee, Trichechus inunguis Natterer, 1883 (Mammalia, Sirenia).

TL;DR: Patterns of mtDNA haplotype diversity in T. inunguis suggest a genetic disequilibrium most likely explained by demographic expansion resulting from secession of hunting and enforcement of conservation and protective measures, and nested clade analysis supports restricted gene flow and/or dispersal with some long‐distance dispersal.
Journal ArticleDOI

Vocalizations of Amazon River Dolphins, Inia geoffrensis: Insights into the Evolutionary Origins of Delphinid Whistles

TL;DR: Vocalizations of the Amazon River dolphin (Inia geoffrensis) are characterized, for which whistles have been reported but not well documented.
